* Ellsworth Medical Clinic Featured in National Video
In 2012, the Ellsworth Medical Clinic was named one of two Million Hearts® Hypertension Control Champions in the nation for their work in reducing blood pressure rates among its patients. The Million Hearts® initiative is to prevent one million heart attacks and strokes by 2017 and they are committed to spreading the lessons learned by health systems and practices that help people get their blood pressure under control.

Local Physicians at Forefront of Electronic Medical Record
The doctors and staff at the River Falls, Ellsworth and Spring Valley Medical Clinics are at the forefront of the nation’s move to Electronic Health Records (EHR).
Dr. Tashjian and Dr. Steinmetz of the River Falls and Ellsworth Medical Clinics were among the first 30 physicians in the nation to verify to the federal government on April 18 that they are using electronic records in a meaningful way.

Rivers Cancer Center Earns CoC Accreditation
The Rivers Cancer Center, a collaborative partnership between the River Falls Medical Clinic, the River Falls Area Hospital, and Minnesota Oncology, to provide local, comprehensive cancer care services to patients with cancer in western Wisconsin, hasrecently earned the 3-Year Accreditation with Commendation from the Commission on Cancer (CoC). The Rivers Cancer Center is the only critical access hospital in the state of Wisconsin to earn this honor, and the only CoC-approved cancer program between Maplewood, Minnesota and Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
